MAX BMW is excited to present our annual fall enduro event, Wheels in the Field.
*THIS IS A BMW ONLY EVENT. ALL CC BIKES WILL BE WELCOME (310 up to 1300), BUT THEY MUST BE BMW.*
On Saturday, an organized BMW only Dual Sport ride will take place, along with a Scottish Trials event held at The Pinnacle on the Town of Chester property. The Dual Sport ride will be lead by Team MAX members and will wind through the peak foliage of southern Vermont.
Check-in will begin at 7:30 AM at The Pinnacle, Lovers Lane, Chester VT. A Rider's Meeting for the day will take place at 8:30 AM. The morning Dual Sport ride will leave promptly at 9:00 AM and return to the same location.
After an afternoon break, the skills portion, referred to as the "Scottish Trials" will take place at The Pinnacle on Lovers Lane in Chester, VT. The Trials are a timed event with a variety of tests to challenge the BMW Dual Sport rider.
Finishing the day on Saturday, an awards dinner will be held at 6:00 PM at the American Legion Hall in Chester, VT. This celebration of the day's events will be open to participants and spectators (dinner-only tickets must be purchased in advance).
The cost of entry for Wheels in the Field, which includes admission to the Awards Dinner, is $95.00. Dinner only tickets are available for $25.00 for spectators and guests.
Camping for the weekend will be available at The Pinnacle Field on Friday and Saturday nights. (Note that this is a different location for camping than in previous years.)
Alternatively, there are options for lodging in the surrounding area. We recommend a quick Google search to find the right accommodations for you. There are also many options for dining throughout the Town of Chester, VT.
You must have full riding gear with body armor, a full-face helmet and boots to participate. Knobby tires are REQUIRED.
Please select either A Group or B Group when registering. A Group will ride through hero sections in the morning Dual Sport Ride. B Group will be directed around the hero sections during the morning ride. A Group - advanced riders. B Group - beginner and intermediate riders.
