OEM Bench Seat

This is a second series /6 seat; it has cross-ribbed pleats (side to side). Appears to have more foam padding (in the front) than the original. Vinyl covered. It fits all /5 LWB and /6 models (except R90S). It also retrofits models that have first generation seats with long ribbed pleats (front to back). Chrome grab rail included. The rear hinge is sold separately; the front hinge is included and riveted on at the factory.

Albert Headlight Mirrors

Threads on mirror are M8x1.25x50mm. Chrome nut on assembly allows you to adjust the depth that mirror is installed at. Albert Mirrors fit the classic, vintage BMW models from 1950 through 1973.

EnduraSpark Ignition System

The Moto Electrics EnDuraSpark Electronic Ignition is an electronic Hall Effect trigger and electronic ignition advance module based on Sachse Electroniks (Germany) components. It replaces the stock under-performing BMW ignition points, condenser, mechanical advance unit and on later models, the electronic ignition control unit and bean can trigger unit. This ignition replaces the ignition systems on all 1970-1995 BMW motorcycles. It is configurable for both single-plugged and dualplugged engines. It is the last improvement ever needed on an Airhead ignition!

Modern electronics technology updates the BMW R Airhead under-performing Bosch ignition system.
The critically important ignition timing is maintained with a crank-mounted trigger rotating past a micro-size hall effect sensor.
Dyno developed advance curves for BMW single- and also dual-spark system can be chosen during installation.
The EnDuraSpark Ignition Module mounts in the old voltage regulator location, away from heat and vibration.
The original Bosch ignition system can be left in place.

ND 8 Tooth Starter

Starter motor is made by Nippondenso, originally for use in Toyota trucks and mated to a new casting and drive gear to fit the BMW engine. The high torque planetary gear design DOES NOT use glued-in magnets for the motor fields. Robust construction and wire-coil fields insure long service and can be rebuilt. At 6 lbs., it's approximately half of a Bosch's weight, and draws 80 amps of battery current, compared to the 120 amp draw common to Bosch.

Drop-in replacement requires no modifications or rewiring. The starter ships with new mounting bolts and nuts. One year warranty. This starter is good for 1970-76 /5, /6, and R90S models that have an 8 tooth drive gear! Very well suited for use on high-compression or performance-modified engines.
